Answer 1 Erie Ideas is a place where ordinary everyday people can come together and share positive ideas between each other with a goal to enhance the quality of life of the citizens in Erie.

Answer 2 When a new idea is submitted, it goes to the "fresh" pile. Other users will find your idea and comment, or vote appropriately. When an idea starts to gain in popularity, it is promoted to the front page for everyone to rate, vote and discuss.
Question 3 What happens to the best ideas?
Answer 3 Once per month the top ideas will be submitted to every possible local, county, and state elected leaders along with most local news media outlets. If you are a media outlet and would like to be added to the list, please send us a request here.
Question 4 Why does this look funny in my browser?
Answer 4 Erie Ideas was designed to work on all browsers, however because of the high interactivity required for the site we recommend
Question 5 How do I add an Image or Video?
Answer 5 To add video from video sharing sites like You Tube and XoinKs we've created a special tag to use while posting.
For example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QZxsM8xWFA
Would be entered as <youtube>9QZxsM8xWFA</youtube>
To add an image please use the tag <img>url of the image</img>

Answer 7 Funny you should ask. I came up with this idea around a year ago. The idea was to create an autonomous community management system where ordinary people can come together in a social environment to share positive ideas between each other with a goal to enhance the quality of life of everyone in the surrounding area.
